It is now possible to set up Demo Contracts in FastDraft; these contracts will have no bearing on aggregated reporting, or notifications that the platform will send.
This guide contains the following:
Why Create a Demo Contract?
Demo Contracts are a useful tool for training purposes, particularly if your staff are new to FastDraft. Here, notifications can be drafted and raised without affecting aggregated reporting, and without sending email notifications to contract users.
We have created party switching for all users on demo contracts irrespective of user type. This means you can raise notifications as one party, switch roles and reply as the relevant party.
How to Create a Demo Contract
Demo Contracts can be created on all Instances of FastDraft by Admin users only. The below instructions are applicable to Admin users of specific FastDraft Enterprises - if you are a user of our Shared Instance, please contact support@builtintelligence.com to find out how you can be set up on a Demo Contract.
Before you begin, if you are unsure on how to create a contract, you can read more here.
1. From the Contracts page on your FastDraft Instance, select 'Create New'
2. Fill out the contract form, as you would any other contract. At the bottom, there is the option to toggle on/off 'Is Demo Contract'. Switch this on.
3. Select 'Create'.
You can now proceed with configuring the contract, and adding any users, as you wish.
