This article is a guide to Multi Tenant SSO on FastDraft.
This guide contains the following:
Introduction
FastDraft now supports multiple SSO connections on the same instance. This means that Suppliers with their own SSO will be able to connect seamlessly to FastDraft without enrolling onto Built Intelligence's. (The request for set up should come via the company who is our FastDraft customer).
How does Multi Tenant SSO work?
Multi Tenant Single Sign-On (SSO) establishes inter-organisational trust that helps seamless authorisation and authentication of each other’s users. Multi Tenant SSO generates an authentication URL, and when the user clicks on the URL, the cloud identity service makes a digitally signed token to verify the partner platform.
Multi Tenant SSO will work in much the same way as is explained by this support article, the only difference being that with Multi Tenant SSO each Supplier will need to follow the process outlined in the support article, and then Built Intelligence would perform the back-end work to join each SSO connection to the same instance.
Once set up the user no longer will sign in with username and password and will be presented with the below screen.
If verified, then the user is logged into their instance of FastDraft otherwise they will be asked to sign up using SSO/MFA from Built Intelligence.
