BuiltIntelligence courses are designed for the best online learning experience. Users sign up for a Premium Membership for access to all courses across a wide range of categories. They do courses at their own pace, complete recap exercises to practice what they’ve learned, and interact with each other from all around the globe. As a contributor, you get to facilitate this unique learning experience, and that all starts with understanding the 3 pillars of BuiltIntelligence’s pedagogy model (learning model):
1. Self-Paced, Digestible Learning
In today's fast-paced digital world, bite-sized content is the proven format to be easiest for users to digest, understand, and remember. Our courses are typically broken down in a series of short lessons or blocks which are about 15-30 minute long. Rather than teaching a broad, sweeping skill set over 6-8 hours, your course should hone in on one specific project, concept or skill. This digestible format allows for focused and engaged learning that our users can fit in around their busy working day. Learn how to get started on your course planning with our step-by-step guide. Courses may be grouped in a learning path or playlist as well to help provide a structure to a broader topic.
2. Learn by Doing
All premium courses on BuiltIntelligence include a simple, quick recap exercise that helps users practice what you’re teaching, and they can also share their questions with the community to get feedback, which leads to a more effective and lasting learning experience. For many contributors, seeing their users apply their skills to real projects is one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching.
3. Community-Based Learning
Users on BuiltIntelligence interact with each other by answering questions, sharing tips and resources, and providing each other with feedback and encouragement. Often users learn just as much from one another as they learn from you. You'll facilitate this by providing as many opportunities for collaboration as possible.
