Introduction
Contractor Assumptions is a workflow that is available to be administered on FastDraft but it does not come as part of a standard contract template, and is an additional extra. Below are the instructions on how to use the Contractor Assumptions workflow.
How to use Contractor Assumptions
In the left-hand navigation panel, under Compensation Events, select Contractor Assumptions
Select Create New
Fill out the draft form by entering the subject, selecting which Compensation Event your Assumption relates to, when a decision is required by, and any details needed. When you're ready, select Create Draft
Once you've created your draft, add any relevant attachments/documents you may need.
The assumption will show as related to the selected Compensation Event.
Once you're ready, select Communicate Assumption

How to reply to Contractor Assumptions
When an Assumption is awaiting a reply, the below status will be shown in the Assumptions register. There will also be an outstanding action under the Project Manager role on the RAG panel.
Click on the Assumption you need to reply to, then select the Reply tab
Select from the dropdown whether you are accepting or not accepting the Assumption, then fill out the Comments box
Once you're ready, select Send Assumption Reply
Select Send Reply
The Assumption's status in the register will now appear as Accepted
