How to relate notices via bulk import
By using the Bulk Imports feature, a large number of different notices can be uploaded. This article explains how to relate notices via Bulk Imports. This will only be available if this information is currently available on the draft notice already.
In this example, we will use relating RFQ's to Task Orders - although not mandatory, this can be a useful addition.
- Bulk upload your RFQ's onto FastDraft.
- Populate your Task Orders import template, that you have downloaded. One of the columns is Request For Quote ID. This can be found by either;
- Downloading the RFQ's into a spreadsheet via the download button on the RFQ register and looking at the entries in the Link column. The link will look similar to this.
. The highlighted number is the ID that you can add against the relevant Task Order on the template.
- Right click on the RFQ entry in the RFQ register and select your preferred option to retrieve the ID number.
- Downloading the RFQ's into a spreadsheet via the download button on the RFQ register and looking at the entries in the Link column. The link will look similar to this.
- The ID number will increment sequentially, so you may not need to go into each individual RFQ to find the ID number, as you'll know what the next number is.
- When you upload the task orders you will see, by clicking in to them, that they have been related to an RFQ.
